One of our favorite places is the manifestation of Paul Allen's visionary efforts to preserve the history of computing, particularly the rarefied examples of main frame technology. Just south of the stadiums, it's easy to include the Living Computer Museum on a tour of downtown Seattle.

If you're staying in or passing through Bellingham, you need to make time to visit the SPARK Museum of Electrical Invention. If you're an electronics person, or even if you're not, it's a great up close opportunity to learn about the development of science and technology of electricity and magnetism.
